A scary incident for workers at Prince Metal Products this afternoon.

Police say a man entered the plant and was threatening employees with a knife.

On site workers were able to restrain the man and took the knife away before anyone was hurt.

Farm Workers Can Join UnionMon Nov 17th, 2008
A group of Kingsville mushroom farm workers have changed the future for all farm workers in Ontario.

Today the Ontario court issued a written decision giving the workers the right to join the United Food and Commercial Workers union.

Hotel Dieu Grace hospital is becoming more efficient when it comes to MRI’s.

The hospital unveiled the new suite this morning that will provide high resolution images using much shorter scan times.

Director of MRI Dr. Igor Gaisinky says the new machine could result in more scans per day.

An open burning by-law will be the hot topic at Leamington Council tonight.

Leamington Fire Chief Bob Bradt says the public meeting will give residents and council the opportunity to discuss the possibility of a permit system to allow open burning in the municipality.

Bradt says if they move forward with an Open Burning By-Law, he would work with council to create guidelines residents would have to follow to qualify for a permit... Click here for full story

A Windsor man is facing charges after an attempted robbery over the weekend.

The suspect entered the store in the 1-thousand block of Albert Road after 4pm.

He walked in with a baseball bat and mask demanding money and cigarettes.

The store owner defended himself with a chair as the suspect swung the bat on the counter and hit a customer on the shoulder... Click here for full story

A slew of charges after Essex OPP pulled a car over on the 401 last night.

Around 10pm, police clocked a car going 97 kilometers per hour in the 80 construction zone.

The car was pulled over and the 24 year old driver from Toronto told police he did not have a license.

The OPP are asking people to leave extra space when driving on snowy and icy roads, and prepare for any change in weather conditions.

A 17 year old Windsor man has been charged following a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

Police in Tecumseh responded to the crash and found a silver Ford Pick-up partially in the ditch.

The driver was charged with Carless Driving, being in possesion of alcohol underage... his G2 license was also suspended for 12 hours because his blood alcohol level was above zero... Click here for full story

A report by Merrill Lynch suggests the Windsor Minivan Plant may one day be owned by Volkswagen.

The report called The Big Bang Theory attempts to look into the future of the Big 3.

It says it's likely Chrysler will run out of cash first, maybe by the end of the year.

Rose City Cruise Incorporated wants to extend it's season a few months to January 1st.

The company was supposed to wrap up it's season on Hallowe'en.
